A Decade Of Decadence!!

Photobucket

Its been Ten Years tomorrow that Ashlee and I said "I DO." When I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me in the freezing snow I said " I can't promise you riches, but I can promise you we will have fun." Regardless of our station on life we have always been able to make it fun. I love her for that. She is a simple girl and has never asked me for more than I have been able to give, which has always made me want to give her more.
Without getting too mushy... I am completely in love with my wife, but can you blame me. She is SMOKIN' HOT!
Here is to another 10 years and then an eternity after that. Love You Babe.

Me Campions!

Photobucket

The Stone boys competed for the first time together on Saturday and the results were GOLDEN! Our little Wylie stepped onto the mat for the first time ever in competition on Saturday and the Wrestling Gods smiled upon him. OK, maybe that's a little dramatic, but for a Wrestling Coach/Dad these are pretty magical moments.
Now I am not saying that at 4 years of age that the competition is very steep, but Wylie is at least trying to make heads or tails of what I am teaching him and put it to use. He doesn't quite have the "killer instinct" yet, but I will burn it into him later. Here is a little bit of one of his matches:

Pretty intense right? What a guy!

Riggin also brought home the gold and his age group and weight class has gotten considerably more competitive. He is doing so good right now. He is a little sponge when I show technique and he picks things up really quick. He is already starting to draw a crowd each time he wrestles. I am obviously a proud papa. Here is part of one of Riggin's matches too.

IT'S A BOY!!!

Look Out World...Another Stone Boy Is On The Way!

Photobucket

We found out yesterday that we will be blessed with another little boy to add to our little brood. I am so stoked! I know Ash was thinking girl, but this world needs more lady killers. Anyway, Ashlee and I said we would always just take it one kid at a time and never put a limit on how many kids we would have, but yesterday after we found out this one is a boy she said "And by the way... we will be having another baby after this one, Tommy needs a little sister." So much for mutual planning.
Anyway this is Ashlee and her sisters (Sorry Auna, not your best picture) about 8 years ago all pregnant with their firsts. Now between the three of them they have 10 kids and 11 is on his way! I can't wait to meet this little guy.

15 Years

Mike is wrapping up his 15th year of coaching at EHS. They had their last dual last week with a nail biting... down to the last match... team win. The kids wrestled tough and Mike was a proud Papa. (These are his boys you know;)) We have Districts this weekend and State next. Good Luck BABY!!! I'm so proud of you and your team. You have helped raise an army of respectable young men.

7th Heaven

Photobucket

Today our Riggin Bo is 7 years old. He asked us if he could have a "Cool Party" this year for his birthday. When we asked what a "Cool Party" was, he said "You know, where everyone dresses cool and stuff and people have like mohawks..., like that." Duh...? What was I thinking... a Cool Party," Geez!
So anyway when we were in AZ for the Fiesta Bowl we went to H&M(Clothing Store) and he saw this black Bomber jacket and said "Dad can I have that jacket for my "Cool Party?" We let him try it on and he wore it through the store, checking himself out in every mirror he could, but in the end, I told him it was too much money and to put it back. He was broken-hearted and pouted, but no tears. Anyway, Ash and I talked and decided that we would get it for him for his B-Day so Lex went to the store, bought it and shipped it to us(Thanks Lex).
The box showed up earlier this week and sat on the counter in an inconspicuous little box and we claimed we didn't know who it was from. So this morning when he came down for his Birthday Breakfast we had his gifts laid out to for him to open. When he opend the mysterious, fated box and pulled out a strange black jacket there was a solemn look on his face. With his lips pursed, the light bulb went on. And then with no words spoken, no expression on his face he jumped from the table into my arms and gave me a hug then climbed off of me, still in silence and hugged his mom. I have never seen him just go "quiet" in humble appreciation. I could tell he was overcome with emotion, it was a Birthday Miracle! And a pretty cool parent moment. So here here he is in his new clothes, new shoes, and his new "Cool" Bomber Jacket before he headed to school. We will have "Cool Party" pictures to follow. Riggin is as good as they come, we are so blessed and so gratefull to be his parents.
