Riggin had his first Pinewood Derby and he was so excited he could hardly contain himself. Problem was...I thought it was in late April, but really it was the April 8th. So after Spring break we only had 5 days to get it built. We met Papa Stone on Monday for FHE and showed him a design Riggin found online and spent everyday after school at Papa's shop working on it. In case you didn't know...my Dad is like Michael Angelo with wood so his grandson's car wasn't gonna be simple in design. Rig's made the final rounds and finished in the top ten, but had a blast. Thanks Dad for all you hard work, Riggin loved his car and the scout master said it was the coolest car there, but looks don't mean very much to this family.

Way to go RIGGIN..I love your GOOD LOOKING RED CAR!! YOU are lucky to have a Papa who has the talents and tools to teach you how to make such an OUTSTANDING HOT ROD!! Looks like it was a fun family activity...3 generations of STONE Boys working together on a fun project...doesn't get better than that does it?! I can only imagine the visions of next year's car.. then Wylie's, then Boxer's will probably have a running engine!! Oh the joys of children!
