One Kicking 4th of July
So we are a little behind getting this out, but better late than never. This year the 4th of July found us at the the Walker's (Ashlee's Parents House). Her Dad loves to do it up right for his family so the we had two blow up jump toys and a Mechanical Bull in the front yard, a projection screen in the garage for movies, and of course the swimming pool. The night before the 4th we all brought our tents over and camped out on the lawn it was complete with a bonfire and smores, swimming past dark, and we woke up to pancakes and bacon in the morning. And for those who haven't done it, sleeping in a 3-Man Tent with 5 people in the middle of the summer is awesome. Don't let anyone tell you different. It was a great couple of days the kids had a blast and anytime you get 4 competitive brother in laws together everything becomes a competition so there was the best trick contest jumping on and off of the jump toys, diving board trick competition, and then diving board dodge ball. The finale consisted of a BBQ, more swimming, a little dancing, and lots of fireworks. Ashlee Tommy and I even broke the porch swing( that actually hangs from a tree), but came away unscathed and Tommy didn't even cry. We are so blessed to have such a great family. Thanks everyone.

Looks like fun!!! Maybe you ought to think about buying a a bigger tent...it was probably about the size of your king size bed, where the whole family ends up by morning usually!!! Great memories!

You guys do have some great events with the family, I think that is so cool, someone has alot of good ideas! :> When was Tommy born? I am trying to gauge her size next to Shep, is she about 7 months or less? She has a nice tan, what a cutie! (Shep wanted me to ask about her age, he is interested. :>)
